Brenau University currently offers 12 degree programs via the Internet using the popular Blackboard delivery platform. These courses are taught by Brenau University faculty members who have successfully completed a 5-week online training class. Online classes are offered via the Internet with no on-campus requirement. Classes are offered within the two 7-week sessions Fall and Spring semesters. In the Summer, online classes last 6 weeks. To see which classes are being offered, please visit the Online Classes page.
The Brenau University Trustee Library offers virtual library resources to online students. Both the GALILEO and ERIC full text databases are currently available. Each student is given an access code and password for the purpose of accessing these resources. Books may be obtained from The Campus Shop, (770) 451-4726 or 800-824-0698, which ships for a flat $7.00 UPS shipping charge. Please be prepared to provide the alpha-numeric code for your class (EH-221, AC-201, etc.). Books may be purchased from online sites as well. If you opt for another textbook vendor, please pay for premium shipping to ensure that your books arrive in time for class.
Tuition is currently $425 per semester credit hour and payable by credit card (VISA/MC or Discover) via telephone, fax, or mail, and by check or money order via mail. The admissions process for online students is identical to that for the institution’s Evening and Weekend College students. You may apply online or download a PDF file to complete and mail or fax in. Brenau University provides “hands-on” faculty advising, and students are advised by individual faculty members in their chosen fields of study. Each new student is assigned a faculty advisor.
Online registration is currently available to existing online students through their password protected CampusWEB accounts.
