Faculty Spotlight

Dr. Renee Just spent 20+ years in the corporate environment, with her last position in the healthcare services industry, where she served as the Director of Recruitment and Program Development. She has worked with organizations ranging from $1 million to $2 billion in revenue serving in several capacities.

After leaving corporate, she launched a consulting practice where she works with small business owners and entrepreneurs in setting strategic goals and devising robust action plans that will allow them to be successful in achieving their goals. She plays a key role with executive teams in leadership development and works with all levels of management in team-building efforts, thus enhancing productivity. Her diverse experience gives her the insight, understanding and ability to consult as a strategic partner.

Dr. Just received her EdD from Vanderbilt University in Leadership and Learning, her PhD from Capella University in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, her MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Training and Organizational Development from the University of New Haven and her BS degree in Business Management from Albertus Magnus College. In addition to her degree accomplishments, she holds certificates in Inclusive Leadership: The Power of Workplace Diversity, Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile, and Leading for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Higher Education.

Dr. Just is a Department Chair of Academic Programs and an Associate Professor of Leadership in the College of Business and Communication at Brenau University. She has been in higher education for over 15 years.
