Brenau education faculty blend in-classroom experience with years of online expertise. Plus, a 9:1 student-to-faculty ratio means more personal time with you.
Just like 85% of Brenau students who receive financial aid, an enrollment coach can help lower out-of-pocket costs through the TEACH Grant and other funding sources.
Brenau first offered online courses in 1998. In the 20+ years since, thousands of students have thrived by having easy access to their program and instructors from wherever they can connect to the Internet. Here’s what you can expect in this program:
1
Your online curriculum features liberal education courses, core education major courses and concentration courses in two specific subjects you choose.
Note: Because of course overlap, students may not choose both Language Arts and Reading.
2
Pass the Teaching Field Content Exams assessments in your specific middle grades teaching area, administered by GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators). This is required before you will be placed for student teaching. 100% of Brenau middle grades graduates pass these exams.
3
You will student teach and participate in other field experiences. Here, you’ll apply what you’ve learned with real students.
4
Receive your teaching license and make a difference for middle grades students. Brenau graduates have gone on to teach at schools throughout Georgia.
