    Pass GACE PAA (Program Admission Assessment)

    If not exempted by SAT/ACT/GRE scores, you must pass all three parts of the GACE PAA to be admitted to Teacher Education before you can be placed for any clinical experiences.

    Pass GACE Content Exams

    Pass the Teaching Field Content Exams assessments in your specific special education teaching area, administered by GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators). This is required before you will be placed for student teaching. 100% of Brenau special education graduates pass these exams.

    In-classroom student teaching

    You will student teach and participate in other field experiences. Here, you’ll apply what you’ve learned with real students.

  5. 5

    Become a teacher

    Receive your teaching license and become an in-demand educator. Brenau graduates have gone on to teach at schools throughout Georgia.
